The WK 091 Diverted Traffic signs should be used to indicate straight ahead, left or right at every decision point, for the road user to follow a diversion route for any road that is closed due to roadworks. The arrow direction may be varied to suit.

On diversions with long distances between decision points, it is recommended that the straight ahead variant be repeated at intervals, to reassure drivers that they are still on the correct route.
